About the artist

Salt Salomé (Anna Zatsarinna]) born in Kazakhstan, now resides in Berlin after living and creating in Ukraine. At the heart of Anna’s work is a desire to explore themes of death, alchemy and human darkness. Her art takes myths and fairytales and brings them into modern reality, where they are reinterpreted and filled with new imagery and meaning.

M. Svitlo (Maksym Zatsarinnyi) comes from the small town of Zvenyhorodka in the Cherkassy region. Since a young age he has been drawn to visual arts, using the camera on his old cellphone to take lo-fi photos and videos under the name 'Svitlo' (The Light). In search of truth, he studies philosophy and gives lectures on his art and process. Together, their work includes short films, performance art, installation pieces, props, photography and music.
